Found a wild animal?

The Wild Neighbors Database Project

Before bringing injured wildlife to our facility, please call us first. This helps ensure that we are available, allows us to provide instructions for safe transport, and enables us to prepare for the animal's arrival. For your safety and the welfare of the animal, please use caution when handling wildlife. Even injured animals may bite, scratch, or carry diseases. If possible, limit handling and follow any instructions provided by our staff. As a nonprofit wildlife rehabilitation facility, we rely on the generosity of our community to care for injured and orphaned wildlife. If you are able, please consider making a donation to help support the animals in our care. Every contribution makes a difference.

Thank you for helping a wild animal in need. Once the animal arrives at our facility, our trained wildlife rehabilitation team will perform an initial assessment to determine its condition and immediate care needs. The animal may receive emergency treatment, supportive care, diagnostic testing, or rehabilitation services depending on its injuries or illness. Our goal is always to return healthy wildlife to their natural habitat whenever possible. Because wild animals experience stress when handled and cared for by humans, we limit public access and updates so our team can focus on providing the best care while minimizing stress to the animal.
